[link]About 3 years ago we were given the devastating news that my Aunty Jen had breast cancer. This came as a big shock as her own mum had only just died of cancer.
We were determind to stay positive and my Aunty Jen was willing to have any treatment available - She had her breast removed and endured 3 intense Chemo-therapies and 1 Radio Therapy session.
Things seemed to be looking up.
My Aunty Jen then started with a cough around Christmas 2005. A chest x-ray revealed that the treatment had not worked and the cancer had spread to her lungs.
We then knew the cancer was terminal but we still remained positive as the doctors were still offering treatment to help shrink or keep the cancer at bay.
Sadly after 3 long years of battling my Aunty Jen lost her fight with cancer on 14th October 2006 aged 56.
I miss my Aunty Jen very, very much but I know that she is no longer in any pain.
So please help myself my cousin Joanne & Sarah her friend raise lots of money for Cancer Research.
